名称由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，该地一部分属根竹坑管辖，另一部分属连麦镇的青枝，取“根竹”之“根”、“青枝”之“枝”，故称根枝。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

生产大队建于1953年，管理区则是1987年的事，村民委员会到1998年才成立。[1]
