冷坑村是怀集县冷坑镇圩镇的一个行政村。据博雅地名网转载的村情资料（未注明年份），全村人口5,942人，耕地1523.5亩，其中旱地111亩；产业上，种植水稻和蔬菜；村子在圩镇上，不少村民从事第三产业。[1]

据村情资料，该地建制先后为：改称冷坑管理区（1989年）；冷坑村民委员会（1998年）。[1]
村民委员会成立于1998年11月，由怀集县人民政府以怀发〔1998〕20号文批准，因驻地在本村而用此名。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 该村被列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2019年9月）。[1]
