三坑村是怀集县冷坑镇北部的一个行政村，距圩镇10公里。据博雅地名网转载的村情资料（未注明年份），全村人口2,198人，耕地1067.7亩，其中旱地187亩；产业上，种植水稻，养殖石山羊，出产蜂蜜、冬菇，山林资源多。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据村情资料，该地建制先后为：三坑林场（20世纪60年代）；1980年代属冷坑；改称冷坑管理区（1989年）；三坑村村民委员会（1998年）。[1]

村民委员会成立于1998年11月，由怀集县人民政府以怀发〔1998〕20号文批准，因驻地在本村而用此名。[1]
