螺岗镇是广东省肇庆市广宁县东北部偏北的一个镇，东邻江屯镇，南接潭布镇，西靠坑口镇，北与赤坑镇、北市镇相连，镇政府设在螺岗社区朝阳路。[1]镇名取自所处螺形山岗。[2]辖1个社区和东方红、螺源、大塘、群力、高坪5个行政村；2019年末户籍人口14573人，第七次全国人口普查时常住人口7100人。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

螺岗在1979年是一个人民公社；四年后改作区，又于1987年成为乡。1992年12月建镇。到1998年12月，原来的管理区一律恢复村民委员会的名称。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

镇域位于广宁县中部偏北，距县城约20公里，属亚热带季风气候。博雅地名网转述的镇情材料称全镇面积105平方千米，山地约12万亩，耕地8500亩，其中水田6000亩；百度百科的数据则为97.36平方千米，两处不一致。[1][2][3]

经济[edit]

螺岗是广宁县的重点林区之一，据镇情材料，木材总蓄积量27万多立方米，森林覆盖率78%；矿产有钽铌矿、钾长石、石英石、金矿等。[3]

镇情材料给出的2005年数字是：社会总产值5200万元，工业占800多万元，农业占3000多万元。当时的企业有四家，分别经营小水电、钾长石粉、铁木制品和表带。[3]农业方面以沙糖桔、山地鸡和白胶树为主，沙糖桔栽种7600多亩，山地鸡存栏约33万羽，白胶树约2000亩；其中山地鸡养殖被广东省农业厅定为「一乡一品」项目。[3]2019年全镇工业总产值为9560万元。[1]

2023年4月公布的「2022年广东省乡村治理示范镇」创建单位名单中有螺岗镇。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

广宁县苏维埃政府遗址在螺岗镇，原址叫“镇安府”，现为螺岗中心小学。据博雅地名网摘录的介绍，1928年2月，欧蛟以农民赤卫队队长的身份带领三百多人，在中共西江特委、广宁县委的领导下建立了这个政权。[2]
