木源村是广东省肇庆市广宁县排沙镇下辖的行政村，在南街与潭布交界处、镇东北面，辖36个村民小组，据博雅地名网所载有2700多人，是镇里最偏远的村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

木源在1930年归第六区，1937年归荆溪乡，建国初期隶属大罗乡。1958年成为木源生产大队。1983年，茅岗大队与它合设木源乡；1987年两地分开，木源设村委会，1990年称管理区，1998年称木源村民委员会。[1] 2019年9月，木源村进入广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，此地地形似锅，原叫「锅源」，因「锅」「木」粤语谐音，改称木源。[1]

经济[edit]

村距县城约47公里，距排沙墟镇约11公里。集体收入来自出租两间纸厂和承包一座电站。村民水田种稻，山坡地种沙糖桔500多亩，也种佛手；外出务工800多人。[1]
