沙湖社区是广东省肇庆市端州区黄岗街道辖下的社区，由原沙湖村委会改设，位于端州区东郊。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

前身是沙湖大队（1961年起），其后历经乡政府、村委会、管理区等名称，2013年1月改为沙湖社区居委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

辖区约4平方公里，东邻蓝塘与下黄岗二，南靠端州一路，西面是星湖景区，北面是星湖大道。村改居前下设七个村民小组：沙头、格塘、凤东、凤西、带村、元咀、黄龙岗。[2]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网转载的村情介绍，原村委会时期有682户、常住人口2240人（该页未注明年份）。[2]

经济[edit]

村情介绍称，村、组共建厂房物业近10万平方米，进驻企业80多家，又设立四家房地产单项公司，名为凤裕、锦湖、信安和加洲新城；2007年集体总收入1457万元。[2]

文化[edit]

2017年10月获首批广东省卫生村称号；社区名列2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单（2019年9月公布）；获评「2024年肇庆市绿色社区」，认定时间为2025年1月。[1]
