渤中村是广东省茂名市信宜市茶山镇下辖的行政村，位于茶山镇南部，辖23个村民小组，在册602户、2756人，全村面积14.9平方千米，耕地1194亩。[1]

名称由来[edit]

该村原称高坡，1975年因位于渤垌与渤上之间，改称渤中。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初期这里是高坡、二垌两个大队，1962年并成高坡大队。1983年撤大队改设渤中乡，1986年设村民委员会，1992年改称管理区办事处，次年办公地点从旧渤垌圩迁至渤垌礼堂，1999年定名渤中村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

村民种三华李、南蕉和木薯，人均收入3000多元，养殖潭仔鱼，并在建设河头山生态林区。据博雅地名网，上一年全村农村经济总收入为3307万元。2021年12月，渤中村获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号；同年9月以三华李列入第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村；2019年9月列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
