历史沿革[edit]

此地在1961年从风岗大队分出，1965至1969年并入柑桔场，1971年设水库大队，其后至1983年为水库村委会，又于1989年称管理区，2005年3月21日村改居，成立水库社区居民委员会[1]。

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，社区分12个村民小组，登记288户，人口992人，总面积4.4平方千米；种荔枝、龙眼，养山地鸡和猪，并输出劳务，其上一年农村经济总收入为890万元[1]。

荣誉[edit]

水库社区于2023年5月被广东省爱卫会评为「2022年广东省卫生村」[1]。
