新中国成立初设樟平乡，1958年改作樟平大队，1976至1983年间属樟平乡，1999年起为现今的村民委员会。[1]

丰产林8000亩，香蕉600亩，淮山300亩，另种沙姜和半夏。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年12月入选第二批国家森林乡村；2021年9月以砂糖桔进入第二批省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村；2021年12月又获省卫生村称号。[1]
