文楼村是文楼镇下辖的行政村，位于镇政府旁边，是镇乡结合区，辖35个村民小组。[1]

村的前身是1958年的文楼大队，沿革同其他村一样几经改称，1999年确定为现在的村民委员会。[1]

农业以香蕉为主，兼有蚕桑、淮山、水果和蔬菜；村介绍说香蕉种了500亩，丰产林2000亩，淮山、蔬菜各200亩。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村委会辖下的镬耳屋村有清代古建筑文楼镬耳屋，在化州市第四批县级文物保护单位之列。[1]
