据博雅地名网，上双村辖7个村民小组，在册348户、1670人，总面积7.2平方公里，耕地840亩（该网未注明统计年份）。[2]
该网记其年平均气温22.8℃，年降雨量1750（原文未写单位），属南亚热带气候。主要经济作物为蚕桑、速生林、沉香；特色收入来自沉香、速生林，上一年农村经济总收入495万元。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1952年土地改革时属上双乡，1956年冬入上双高级农业合作社，1958年改上双大队，此后建制依次为：乡（1983年）、村民委员会（1987年）、管理区办事处（1989年），1999年恢复村民委员会，一直如此。[2]
