同庆镇是广东省茂名市化州市下辖的镇，在化州市东南部、鉴江平原上，东隔鉴江与茂南区公馆镇相望，南接长岐镇和吴川市浅水镇，西隔江与杨梅镇相对，北邻东山街道。[1][3]镇名来自1916年乡人合股兴建的同庆圩。[2]全镇下辖1个社区、17个行政村，镇政府设在人民中路。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1932年，这一带设化县第二区，区公署驻同庆圩，管辖同庆、中和等22个乡；1942年设庆和乡。1953年设化县第一区，区公署仍驻同庆圩，辖地包括今东山、同庆、长岐三地。[4]

1957年区并入乡，设同庆乡；次年9月，公社化，建同庆人民公社。其后体制几经反复：1961年9月为同庆区，1963年复为公社，1983年10月又为区，直到1987年2月区改为镇，这便是今天的同庆镇。[4][1]

关于镇名，据博雅地名网所载，民国初年附近的三丫圩治安不靖，村民不敢赶圩，1916年乡人合股筹建新圩，取同心合力御敌、同庆太平之意，称同庆圩，镇由此得名。[2]

地理环境[edit]

镇域面积，百度百科作60.4平方千米，博雅地名网作60.2平方千米。[1][3]广湛高速公路自东向西穿过全镇，285省道由北向南贯通，村级硬底化公路二十多公里连接东西。[3]

人口民族[edit]

百度百科记载，2019年末同庆镇户籍人口78585人；博雅地名网另记，据第七次全国人口普查，全镇人口约5.49万，在化州市各街道、镇中居第10位。[1][2]

经济[edit]

同庆是化州市的蔬菜产区，北运菜是当地农业的主要产品。[3]据博雅地名网转载的镇概况（未注年份），全镇有企业1270家，其中规模以上20家，工业以金属加工、皮革加工、乙烯后续加工、化工和竹木器加工为主，粤西地区由省质监局认可的标准化民营轧钢企业化州市同庆钢铁有限公司即在这里；海利牌不锈钢管曾被评为广东省著名牌产品。同一材料称同庆为省中心镇、省工业卫星镇，在茂名市农村综合实力十强镇中排第二位。[3]

百度百科记2019年同庆镇的固定资产投资比上年增长3.64%，规上工业总产值增长6.19%。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

李乐善夫妇墓位于悦义村委会辖地的横岗岭，属明代古墓葬，为化州市第四批县级文物保护单位。[2]
