下街社区是广东省茂名市化州市东山街道下辖的社区，在鉴江东岸，与上街社区南北相接。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

因在上、下两社区中位于南面，所以叫下街。1993年设立，起初编作第三居委会，2003年定名下街居民委员会，2017年改称下街社区居民委员会。[1]

概况与荣誉[edit]

社区自述辖7个村民小组，在册3171户、15852人，总面积3.8平方公里；特色经济是乙烯后续加工，上一年总收入880万元。[1] 2019年9月公布的「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」中有下街社区。[1]
