上街社区是广东省茂名市化州市东山街道下辖的社区，在鉴江东岸，属化州市区较繁华的地段。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

社区与下街社区合起来，以南北位置分称上、下，因处北面而叫上街。[1] 1949年以后，这里是化州县环城公社的东山大队；之后的名称依次为化州镇西街居委会（1980年）、东山镇一街居委会（1995年）、东山街道第一居委会（1999年以后），2003年起叫上街社区居民委员会。[1]
