历史沿革[edit]

安山一带在民国时属新垌乡，1950年归茂名县第一区，1959年为新垌公社的一部分，1983年新垌改设为区，1986年12月建镇。[1]1995年镇内设立安山居民委员会，后改称安山社区居民委员会。[1]
