独楼村隶属麻岗镇，在电白区境内，位于镇域西北面，是镇辖的行政村之一。[1]据博雅地名网转录的村情资料（未注明年份），全村分24个村民小组，在册1448户、6936人，耕地2183亩，总面积11平方千米。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1953年设独楼乡，1958年改作独楼生产大队，1983年改为独楼乡，1987年设独楼村民委员会，1989年一度改叫独楼管理区，1999年起又称村委会，沿用至今。[1]
