霞里社区是广东省茂名市电白区南海街道下辖的社区，位于茂名市中心城区一带，博雅地名网将其归为主城区。[1]社区的前身是霞里村，名称取自霞里四村的古庙“霞里”二字。[1]

博雅地名网记载，社区得名于霞里四村的霞里古庙，借庙名中的两字作为地名。[1]1987年这里设居委会，2003年11月15日起设社区居委会，沿用至今。[1]

据博雅地名网（未注明统计年份）：全社区分16个村民小组，在册1928户、8680人，总面积6.5平方千米，耕地1120亩；种植水稻、花生、木薯，虾塘租包金是特色收入，上一年农村经济总收入2320万元。[1]
