良美社区在吴川市南部、博茂港东侧，是以捕捞、养殖和海产品加工为业的渔业社区，下设4个居民小组，面积4.54平方千米，海岸线长5公里[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
良美于1959年10月自梅逢大队析出，2002年建社区居委会，名称沿用至今[1]。
经济[edit]
社区有耕地861亩；渔船260多艘，渔民450多人下海捕捞；围海养虾198亩；海蜇加工场7处[1]。2007年的渔获为1145吨，其中海蜇有530吨；人均收入2978元，渔业产值合计1580万元[1]。社区办有1所中心小学，学生700多人[1]。「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单中有它，时间是2019年9月[1]。
