岭圩社区在大山江街道西北部，旧325国道从境内南北穿过，北有梅化线，西临袂花江，下设6个居民小组，面积3.03平方千米[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
社区最早是1958年的岭圩大队，当时归吴川县梅菉镇管，后改隶大山江公社[1]。此后名称几经变化：乡（1983年，属大山江区）、管理区（1987年）、村委会（1998年，属大山江镇），到2002年定为居委会，至今未变[1]。
经济与社会[edit]
社区有耕地1625亩，民营企业20多家；养鱼是特色农业，鱼塘600多亩，另有3个鱼苗孵化场[1]。2007年的统计是：居民人均纯收入3012元，工业总产值1.5亿多元，农业则是900多万元[1]。梅东集贸市场是街道里仅有的农贸市场，设在社区中心；辖区有3所完全小学，学生1200多人[1]。社区在2019年9月进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单[1]。
