历史沿革[edit]
1949年设包金乡村，1950年设包金乡，1956年设高级社，1960年设包金人民小公社，1984年设包金乡，1987年2月设包金村委会，1999年定名包金村民委员会。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
据百度百科，村辖包金、包金圩、蛋场、坑仔等5个自然村，面积约3.2平方千米，海岸线长5.6公里，有包金港；耕地1970亩，种水稻、番薯、花生、甘蔗，并从事浅海捕捞。村里自清代起有醒狮的传统。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，包金村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
