北仔村是雷州市纪家镇的行政村，辖13个自然村，临北部湾。据《湛江市地名志》，村名因靠近北部湾，统称「北仔」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网称，南宋期间陈、黄、玉、周等姓从安徽、福建迁来，立北仔村；民国时属遂溪县江洪镇，1955年划归海康县（今雷州市）并设北仔管理区，1961年设大队，1984年设北仔乡，1987年2月设北仔村委会，1999年定名北仔村民委员会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据百度百科，村在镇区西北约8公里，总人口7362人，耕地2200多亩，林地3000多亩，种水稻、花生、番薯和甘蔗，部分村民浅海捕鱼，近年把闲置盐田改作水产养殖。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，北仔村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
