历史沿革[edit]
1858年至1984年，潭杰一带属西边兰大队，该大队由锦盘仔、潭杰、迈本胡、锦盘、迈本陈等村组成。1984年设潭杰乡（办公地在潭杰村），1987年2月设潭杰村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年定名潭杰村民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
据百度百科，村总人口2468人，耕地3500亩，以甘蔗种植为主；村里推进生活污水管网和人居环境整治，是纪家镇的「百千万工程」典型村。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，潭杰村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
