镇中社区是广东省湛江市雷州市雷城街道下辖的社区，区划代码440882001001，在城乡划分中属主城区（分类代码111）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

名称来历：社区居委会设在原雷城镇的中心地带，因此叫镇中。[1] 沿革：1964年称城北解放街，1965至1979年称镇中居民委员会，1980至2003年称镇中管理区，2007年改设镇中社区居民委员会。[1]

2019年9月，该社区列入广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

辖区内有三元塔公园，园中的三元塔是明代万历年间建成的砖塔，1979年列为广东省文物保护单位。[2]
