荔枝林村属湛江市廉江市，在石岭镇境内，是该镇辖下的行政村，村委会设在丁村，下辖7条自然村；2005年全村926户、3282人。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

相传此地原先荔枝树遍布山野，村民便以荔枝林为村名，村委会以辖内的荔枝林村取名。[1][2]

1962年至1967年，该村与丁村山、中路头、符屋、山仔、稔仔坡等村合组大队，大队部设在荔枝林；1968年迁回狗委岭坡办公；1983年设荔枝林乡，1987年改称管理区，1999年改设村民委员会。[1][2]

2021年1月，荔枝林村在湛江市2020年度全市文明村评选中入选。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

据2005年的统计，全村926户、3282人，汉族约占98%，另有壮族、苗族等；姓氏方面，郑姓约占60%，杨姓约占30%，另有符姓；村民通行黎话。[1][2]

经济[edit]

耕地共2273亩（2005年），种的作物有水稻、番薯、木薯、芋头、花生和蔬菜；该年粮食产量1480.8吨，渔业产量61吨，经济总收入为820万元。[1][2]

村里的土特产有甘蔗、芋头、蒜头、尖椒、木薯。[1][2]
