盘龙塘村还在2022年8月被列为当年省级民主法治示范村（社区）的创建对象。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

据2005年的统计，全村958户、3380人，汉族约占99%，另有壮族、苗族等；姓氏方面，林姓约占80%，温姓约占11%，另有李、刘、苏、龙等姓；村民通行白话（约占70%）、黎话和哎话。[1][2]

经济[edit]

耕地共3683亩（2005年），种的作物有水稻、花生和薯类；该年粮食产量2234.2吨，渔业产量154吨，经济总收入为820万元。[1][2]
