据2005年的统计，全村1696户、6542人，汉族约占99%，另有壮族、苗族等；姓氏方面，钟姓约占70%，另有林、廖、李等姓；村民通行哎话（约占95%）和白话。[1][2]

经济[edit]

耕地共4858亩（2005年），种的作物有水稻、大蒜和薯类；该年粮食产量2947吨，渔业产量337吨，经济总收入为1500万元。[1][2]

村里的土特产有甘蔗、芋头、蒜头、木薯。[1][2]
