据2005年的统计，全村1336户、5124人，汉族约占99%，另有壮族、苗族等；姓氏方面，钟姓约占37%，蔡姓约占13%，另有陈、李、赖、黄、廖、曾、蓝等姓；村民通行哎话（约占90%）和白话。[1][2]

经济[edit]

耕地共2615亩（2005年），种的作物有水稻、蒜头和薯类；该年粮食产量1586.4吨，渔业产量73吨，经济总收入为1500万元。[1][2]

村里的土特产有甘蔗、芋头、蒜头、木薯。[1][2]
