2019年9月，石郊村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1][2]

石郊村辖下的黄吉埇村在2023年5月获评「2022年广东省卫生村」，由省爱卫会授予。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

据2005年的统计，全村1418户、6121人，汉族约占99%，另有壮族、苗族等；姓氏方面，赖姓约占20%，钟姓、林姓各约占15%，另有刘、蔡、李、罗等姓；村民通行哎话（约占95%）和白话。[1][2]

经济[edit]

耕地共4853亩（2005年），种的作物有水稻、蒜头和薯类；该年粮食产量2944吨，渔业产量249吨，经济总收入为1210万元。[1][2]

村里的土特产有甘蔗、芋头、蒜头、木薯。[1][2]
