地名与沿革[edit]

村边原来是一片海，村前有个埠头，过往渔船在这里停泊，排起来像一条长龙，故称鱼龙埠[1]。大榄田和鱼龙埠在1953至1958年合为龙田乡，分开后设鱼龙埠大队；1987年称管理区，1999年定名鱼龙埠村委会；办公地点1963年从天塘村搬到缸瓦窑村[1]。

村辖黎屋地、中公仔、两桥围、豆圩、中间围、龙口井、石马头、缸瓦窑、天塘、深田、九龙、鱼龙埠12条自然村，1045户5296人（未注年份）[1]。
