山合村隶属湛江市廉江市的石角镇，是一个行政村，村委会驻山合村。[1]据博雅地名网所载，辖8条自然村，606户、3065人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

关于村名，地名资料的说法是：山嘴山、山合山、寺管山、中间山四座山在村前会合，村民以山合为名。[2]沿革方面：1951年为山合行政村，此后1953年为山合乡，此后1958年为山合大队，此后1983年冬为山合乡，此后1987年春设山合村委会，此后1989年称山合管理区，此后1999年改为山合村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

村中种养的有水稻、玉米、速生桉和水果，荔枝产量较多；有石料加工、运输等副业。[1]该页载耕地1225亩、山地5912亩。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月列在湛江市2020年度文明村名单中；另有2019年9月进入2018年度广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位之列。[1]
