木马村隶属湛江市廉江市的石角镇，是一个行政村，村委会驻木马村二队。[1]据博雅地名网所载，辖1条自然村，220户、1105人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

关于村名，地名资料的说法是：村场的地形像一匹木马，村民以木马为名。[2]沿革方面：1963年自油房大队分出，此后设木马大队，此后1983年改为木马村民委员会，此后同年冬称木马乡，此后1986年称木马管理区，此后1999年复称木马村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

村中种养的有水稻和水果，荔枝、龙眼产量较多，出产被评为国家A级绿色食品的蜜糖荔；有酿酒、运输等副业。[1]该页载耕地330亩、山地2868亩。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年4月列入广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建名单；另有2023年11月成为广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村之一；另有2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予2022年广东省卫生村称号；另有2021年9月入选广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村第二批名单（荔枝）；另有2019年12月入选第二批国家森林乡村名单。[1]
