相邻的有同济居委会（东）、新越居委会（南）、燕山村（西）和梧村垌村（北）。辖区有多个住宅小区、市一中和房地产企业。[1]据2015年底的数字，共488户、1886人，以汉族为主，姓氏杂多，居民多从事工业和企业工作；2016年人均年收入4100元。[1]
