尖岭村是下洋镇下辖的行政村，1978年柳尾大队迁到这里后改称尖岭大队[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1978年，柳尾大队整体搬到尖岭村，名称改为尖岭大队；其后1984年为乡，1987年为村委会，1989年为管理区，1999年起称尖岭村民委员会[1]。

荣誉[edit]

尖岭村列入广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2019年9月）。2023年5月，村内楼前村、边湖仔村、尖岭村、后村仔村、内村园村、柳尾村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号；2026年3月又被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」[1]。
