龙江塘村是下洋镇下辖的行政村，建制始于1961年的龙江塘大队[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村于1961年设大队。进入1980年代，它依次改称乡（1984年）、村委会（1987年）、管理区（1988年），1999年起称龙江塘村民委员会[1]。

荣誉[edit]

龙江塘村列入广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2019年9月），被认定为「2022年湛江市文明村」（2022年9月）；村内六黎村、坡头村在2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。
