双沟村是下洋镇下辖的行政村，建制始于1962年设立的双沟大队[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村在1962年立为双沟大队。1984年，它被归入海星大队，合称海星乡；三年后（1987年）恢复单设，成立双沟村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年定名双沟村民委员会，一直用到现在[1]。

荣誉[edit]

列入广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2019年9月），并在2026年3月被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」[1]。
