历史沿革[edit]

山域大队1978年由新市大队划出而立，翌年同溪头大队合并，仍用此名；1983年为山域乡，1986年为村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年重设村民委员会[1]。

农业部在2011年8月将山域村认定为首批「全国一村一品示范村镇」，主导产品是罗非鱼；2021年1月，该村入选湛江市2020年度「全市文明村」[1]。
