历史沿革[edit]

1953年时归一个行政村管，次年另设田西乡；1958年同新村、溪头两乡并成红旗大队，到1961年再分出田西大队；1983年称田西乡，1986年为村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年复称村民委员会[1]。镇概况称田西河流经境内[2]。

2019年9月，田西村名列广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位[1]。
