历史沿革[edit]
邦塘乡成立于1950年，1953年至1957年先后办初级社、高级社，1958年起改称邦塘大队。1978年至1982年，邦塘大队分出湛川大队；1983年至1988年为邦塘村委会，1989年至1998年为管理区，1999年定为邦塘村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
邦塘村在2019年9月公布的「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单」（2018年度）里有名；2022年12月又得到遂溪县文明村镇的认定（2022年度）。[1]
