历史沿革[edit]
1950年归布政村委会管辖；1981年单列布政、迈草、新有三个大队；1983年更名为布政乡，1986年更名为布政村委会，1989年更名为管理区，1999年起定为布政村民委员会。[1]
文化[edit]
布政村以火龙果入选广东省农业农村厅2021年9月公布的第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]
2021年12月，布政村被广东省爱卫会授予2021年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
该村又是广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村之一（2023年11月），并于2024年4月进入第一批省级乡村振兴示范村创建行列。[1]
