历史沿革[edit]

它原属水流村，2015年中旬从水流村民委员会分设为独立的村民委员会，沿用至今。水流村此前的沿革为：1966年，马群大队并入水流大队，统称水流大队；设水流乡（1983年）；成立水流村委会（1987年），改称管理区（1989年），起为水流村民委员会（1999年）。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月，村名列「湛江市2020年度全市文明村」；2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」之列。[1]
