平乐下社区（又称平乐下村社区）是湛江市霞山区乐华街道（由湛江经济技术开发区管理）下辖的社区，原为平乐村的一部分，因地势较低而称“下”[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

平乐村在1954年办起初级农业生产合作社，1958年改为人民公社体制下的平乐大队。1983年大队拆分，下半部成为平乐下大队，1988年再改作管理区，并设有经济合作社。此后1999年改设村民委员会，2011年改设社区居委会，沿用至今[1]。

荣誉[edit]

  • 2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单[1]
  • 2020年12月，列入「2020年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单[1]
  • 2023年1月，经司法部、民政部命名为「第九批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」[1]
