泉庄街道是广东省湛江市霞山区下辖的街道，实际由湛江经济技术开发区代管，位于霞山区中心、开发区的西北部。[1] 1995年5月18日设立，辖区约3.6平方千米，下辖3个社区。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

泉庄街道的名称取自街道办事处驻地泉庄村。[2] 它成立于1995年5月18日，比同在开发区内的乐华街道（1995年7月由开发区管委会设立）早约两个月；两者的区划代码末位（070、071）排在霞山区各街道之后，是编码顺序所致，并非新近才设立。[1][2][5]

辖区内的海滨北社区在2000年以前属霞海村，当年3月经湛江市政府批准改设社区居委会；盛和园社区则在2021年1月定名。[3][4] 截至2023年6月，街道下辖人民、海滨北、盛和园3个社区。[1]

地理环境[edit]

街道的四至为：东面是湛江内港，南面以篆塘河为界，北面以文保河为界，西面离人民大道150米，全部在大道以东一侧。辖区合计约3.6平方千米。[1] 气候属亚热带季风性气候。[1]

人口[edit]

据百度百科，2011年末街道有常住人口两万三千多人，外加流动人口四千七百多人。[1] 第七次全国人口普查（2020年）时人口约2.3万人，在湛江开发区各街道、乡镇中居第6位。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

在百度百科的泉庄街道词条里，名胜一栏共四处：风正帆悬雕塑、王祖庙、绿塘河湿地公园和中澳友谊花园。[1]

绿塘河湿地公园依绿塘河东西向延伸，全长3.3公里，占地30余公顷，水面湿地267亩。百度百科称它是广东省第一个国家级城市湿地公园，园中已记录野生动物106种。[6]

中澳友谊花园在海滨大道西边，面向麻斜海，面积约34.6万平方米。2004年湛江与澳大利亚的凯恩斯缔结友好城市，花园为此兴建，2006年8月开工，2007年9月26日建成向公众开放。[7]

王祖庙又称龙潮抗法誓师旧址，建于1567年（明嘉靖四十六年），现列湛江市历史文物保护单位。据该词条，法国占据广州湾的1898年，龙潮、霞海、梧阔三个村的梁姓村民把这座庙当作抗法义军的誓师地。[8] 该词条称庙在龙潮村，而不在街道的社区名单之内，其所在村与街道辖区的关系，资料未作说明。风正帆悬雕塑暂无独立词条可查。
