西厅村是广东省湛江市霞山区海头街道的行政村。村名来自下辖的西上、西内、西外3条自然村：三村的位置连成三角形，中间开阔如厅堂，由东向西，故称西厅。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年属市郊潮满区；1952至1957年与岑擎村合为西厅乡；1958至1983年又与陈铁村并为陈铁大队；之后依次改称西厅乡政府（1984年）、西厅管理区（1986年）、西厅村委会（1995年，隶海头镇）。村的沿革记2003年撤镇设街后归海头街道。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
