历史沿革[edit]
抗战胜利后至1957年称潮满区陈铁乡，1958至1983年称陈铁大队，1984至1989年称陈铁管理区并设经济合作社，到1999年定名陈铁村民委员会，隶海头镇。村的沿革记2003年重新划分区域后归海头街道。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
黎氏宗祠在陈铁村三巷，始建于清光绪五年（1879年），原为三路三进的砖木建筑，占地470.42平方米，1985年修缮过，2016年拆除后按明代风格新建。1940年8月，村中青年黎江、黎梅清、黎光、黎爵争取乡绅资助，在祠内办黎明小学，由中共党员赵世尧任校长，演出雷剧、话剧，教唱抗日歌曲，并办民众夜校，参加者约300人；该校即陈铁村的主要交通站，先后由王勤生、陈良喜等任校长。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单，2022年9月被认定为湛江市文明村。[1]
