录塘村是湛江市霞山区新园街道下辖的行政村，村内的菉塘下村有中共广州湾支部旧址和菉塘革命烈士陵园[1][2]。1957年，该村被广东省人民政府评为革命老区（抗日游击根据地）村庄[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，录塘村列入「2020年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」；2026年1月，被评为广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

村里的林氏宗祠是中共广州湾支部旧址，1986年12月公布为湛江市文物保护单位[2]。1939年村民利用宗祠办起私塾，后来改为私立世基小学，同年3月中共广州湾支部在附近成立，菉塘交通站随后设立，1945年9月又成立中共菉塘支部[2][3]。交通站从建立起使用了十年，直到湛江解放[2]。从世基小学走出参加革命的学生有一百多人，其中12人牺牲[2]。1985年村里按原貌重建宗祠，辟为世基文化室[2]。

1986年4月，村里在离宗祠约100米的百羊山上建起菉塘革命烈士陵园，占地5510平方米，建有高10.5米的纪念碑和12位烈士墓[2]。陵园1995年被湛江市命名为首批爱国主义教育基地，管理上设有专人和制度，每年到访者超过2000人[2][4]。2009年陵园前的洼地改建为菉塘文化公园，2012年8月旧址被评为湛江市党史教育基地[2]。
