录溪社区是湛江市霞山区新园街道下辖的社区，名称取自辖区内的绿塘河，粤语中“绿”与“录”同音，故写作“录”[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区于1989年经霞山区人民政府批准成立，初名海滨二路居委会，隶属海滨街道[1]。1995年从海滨街道划出，归解放街道管辖，改称录溪社区居委会[1]。2003年再次调整辖区，又从解放街道划出，归新园街道管辖，沿用至今[1]。
