新君村是广东省恩平市君堂镇的行政村，位于君堂圩南侧，下辖13条自然村；村名由原来的“君堂”改成，1951年改名。[1]

全村2320人、620户，面积3平方公里，耕地2770亩。村子靠近君堂圩，交通条件好，村里以瓜菜种植基地为主要产业方向。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

当地人认为“君堂”二字带有封建色彩，1951年改村名为新君；1953年设新君乡，1958年改为生产大队，1986年设村民委员会，1989年又作管理区，1998年10月9日获恩平市政府批准，正式定名为新君村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
