潢步头村是广东省恩平市君堂镇东部的行政村，村委会设在潢步头自然村，因此得名；辖区位于山区，隔江与开平市相望。[1]

博雅地名网所录村情称，村里有8条自然村，居民342户共1373人；耕地约1061.8亩（含旱地130亩），另有山地约1500亩。当时交通条件较差，从镇上通往村委会的路中尚有2.5公里未铺水泥。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年时叫潢步头生产大队；1984年改设乡；1986年设村民委员会；1989年又作管理区；1998年10月9日，恩平市人民政府批准正式定名为潢步头村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
