辖区面积5平方千米，户籍人口2005人，521户，以种植和养殖为主，党员55人。步栏司屋村曾获「江门市文明村」称号，步栏龙头村获「开平市文明村」称号。[1]

村庄建设[edit]

2022年村里完成改水工程，村道实现全面硬底化，并聘请第三方管护环境。中和村设有幸福院，清湾、新成、南邻等村加入光伏项目，占地约170亩。[1]
