南塘美村是广东省江门市开平市赤水镇西南部的行政村，离镇政府0.5公里，下辖13条自然村、18个村民小组。[1]

概况[edit]

村内人口2273人，耕地1891.44亩，村民以优质水稻、蔬菜种植、渔业养殖和外出经商务工为生。2023年3月，土名「打石山」的矿源获准开采，增加了集体收入。[1]

产业[edit]

水仔口工业集中地设在村里，已招进企业5家，包括省级农业龙头企业粤大生物和金箩米业，村集体收入预计2023年比2020年增长563.41%。[2]该处后来发展为水仔口健康食品产业园，规划总面积约2500亩。[3]

东湖村碉楼群[edit]

东湖村保存有碉楼和青砖民房，镇里计划引入投资，把它改造成精品民宿。[4][1]

著名人物[edit]

弗兰克·仕祖籍东湖村，1942年入选英格兰男子足球队，是该队首位亚裔球员。塘美里的司徒非毕业于保定军校，1932年在南京牺牲。南兴村的司徒绍曾任广东省农业农村厅厅长。[1]
